For every pair of clogs bought we are planting a tree! We have teamed up with Treeapp, a B Corp Certified company working towards restoring ecosystems and supporting biodiversity across the world by planting fruit and nut trees, which also aids the subsistence farming of local communities.

Irregular Choice’s chosen site is Tanzania, where the forest cover continues to recede by approximately 1% every year, which is twice the global average, due to the mining and logging industries. Treeapp is working towards restoring forest cover density in the Usambara Mountains, and works closely with its local planting partners to mobilise and empower the local Tanzanian community, providing them with the training and tools to grow and care for their own trees. In 2019, the organisation managed to create jobs for native residents from 205 surrounding villages.
